Custom Song Gift and JustOurSong both turn what you tell them into a song you can give. The difference is in how much you know before you pay, how much of the song you can shape, how it sounds when it's played out loud, and what you can do if it isn't right.
This review is published by JustOurSong. Details about Custom Song Gift were checked on its website, FAQ, order page and refund policy, up to the add to cart step, in October 2026, along with Custom Song Gift reviews on Trustpilot.
The Short Version
Custom Song Gift can suit you if you're happy to order an English song from a single text box, wait two days and accept it as it is. JustOurSong is the choice when you want to hear the song first, pick the vibe and the language, have it in 30 minutes when time is short, and keep 30 days to be sure.
Key takeaways
- Before you pay: JustOurSong lets you hear a free preview of your song before it asks for payment. Custom Song Gift's order page is a genre, a male or female voice and one text box, then add to cart.
- How it's made: JustOurSong's songs are written from scratch, quality-controlled to studio grade and mastered for the radio, every time. Lyrics are never reused.
- After delivery: JustOurSong includes a free redo for minor or major changes, lyrics or music, and a 30-day money-back guarantee instead of a no-refunds rule. JustOurSong's add-ons dress up the reveal too: a gift page that turns the song into something to unwrap, and a YouTube video Grandma can play in one tap. Custom Song Gift's refund policy says it can't offer refunds, only one revision.
Platform Overview
Custom Song Gift
Custom Song Gift sells one song from a single order page: you choose a genre and a male or female artist, then write everything about the person and the occasion in one text box, and pay. Its studio emails the song as an MP3 file within 2 days.
JustOurSong
JustOurSong replaces the blank text box with a short, simple guide: who the song is for, the occasion, the genre, the vocalist, the vibe, and then the memories that make it theirs. Each song is written from scratch, never with reused lyrics, in many genres, like country, acoustic pop, R&B, classic rock, Christian and others, and in their language. JustOurSong plays you a free preview before you pay, and the finished song, mastered to sound like it belongs on the radio, arrives by email as a link to a private song page where you can play it, share it and download the high-quality MP3 and the lyrics, in as little as 30 minutes with express delivery.

Hear It Before You Pay
With JustOurSong you share your story, and a few minutes later you're listening to a free preview of your own song: their name, your memories, the genre you picked. You pay only once you've heard it.
Custom Song Gift has no preview of your own song. Its order page asks for a genre, a male or female artist and one text box about the song, then sends you to the cart. The songs on its site were made for other people, and yours arrives by email two days after you pay.
If you'd rather hear their name in the song before spending anything, JustOurSong is the safer bet.
Does Custom Song Gift Offer Refunds?
No. Its refund policy says that because every song is made to order and can't be reused, it can't offer refunds. If you aren't satisfied, it offers one revision at no charge, and that's the end of the road.
JustOurSong's guarantee runs for 30 days. If it's not what you hoped for, email JustOurSong for a full refund. JustOurSong includes a free redo for minor or major changes to the words or the music.
If you're ordering early for a big day, JustOurSong is the one to choose.
What You Can Shape Before You Pay
With JustOurSong you choose:
- The vocalist and the vibe: upbeat and happy, soulful and deep, romantic, funny, or epic and powerful
- The language: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and many more
- The occasion: a birthday, anniversary, proposal, wedding, graduation, apology, Christmas, New Year, a song in memory of someone, just because, or any moment you describe in your own words
- The details: nicknames, inside jokes, the first apartment, the song from the kitchen
Custom Song Gift's order page has a genre, a male or female artist and a single text box. There's no step for the mood of the song, no occasion list, and no language choice, so its songs are written in English only. Its genre list has no soul, jazz or Latin style like bachata.
If the song should feel funny, soulful or epic, or it's for a family that speaks Spanish at home, JustOurSong is the stronger pick.
How It Sounds When You Press Play
Every JustOurSong song gets:
- A natural songwriting structure: verses, and a chorus they'll hum for days
- Studio-grade quality control before it reaches you
- A radio-ready master that sounds full on a phone, in the car or over the speakers at the party
One of Custom Song Gift's low-star reviews on Trustpilot loved the lyrics and the singer but found the audio quality a bit harsh on the ears. Its songs take 2 days, while JustOurSong's express delivery turns a song around in 30 minutes.
If the song will play in front of a room full of guests, JustOurSong is the one you won't have to worry about.
