Songful and JustOurSong both let you hear your song before you pay. The differences show up after that: how long your guarantee really lasts, which languages the song can be in, and how original it is.
This review is published by JustOurSong. Details about Songful were checked on its website, help center, terms of service and song form, up to its checkout page, in October 2026, along with the Songful reviews shown on its own website.
The Short Version
Songful can suit you if the song is in English or Spanish and you're sure you'll want to keep it once you've confirmed it. JustOurSong is the choice when you want the song in their language, lyrics written from scratch and never reused, and 30 days to be sure.
Key takeaways
- Before you pay: both play you a free preview. With JustOurSong you also choose the language of the song, like French, German, Italian, Portuguese and many more.
- How it's made: originality is built into every JustOurSong song: it's written from scratch, quality-checked at studio grade and mastered for a radio-ready sound. JustOurSong never reuses lyrics, while Songful's terms say it doesn't guarantee its songs are completely original.
- After delivery: JustOurSong's free redo covers minor or major changes to the lyrics or the music, and its 30-day money-back guarantee keeps going after you've said yes to the song. Songful's refunds end once you confirm your song, the step that unlocks the song page and the MP3.
Platform Overview
Songful
Songful builds a song from a four-step form: their name, your relationship and the occasion; a genre and sub-genre, a feel and a male or female vocalist; details about them, from personality to special memories; then your name and email. It writes lyrics you can edit and approve, then plays 50-second previews of three versions before checkout. After you pay, you hear the full versions and can ask for remakes, and once you confirm your favorite you get its song page and MP3.
JustOurSong
JustOurSong writes in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and many more languages, and its lyrics are never reused, so every song is written from scratch for your story. A short guide covers who the song is for, the occasion, the genre, the vocalist, the vibe and your memories, with many genres to choose from, like country, soul, R&B, bachata and others. JustOurSong plays you a free preview before you pay, and the finished song, mastered to sound like it belongs on the radio, arrives by email as a link to a private song page, where you can play it, share it and download the high-quality MP3 and the lyrics.

When Songful's Money-Back Guarantee Ends
Songful's guarantee covers you while you're still choosing: you can ask for a refund before you confirm your song, within 30 days of ordering. To get the song page and the MP3, though, you tick a box confirming you're happy with it, and its help center says that once you've confirmed, refunds are no longer available.
Its terms of service go further: not liking the style, tone or melody isn't treated as a fault, and doesn't entitle you to a refund as long as the song is technically sound and matches your brief.
JustOurSong's guarantee runs for 30 days. If it's not what you hoped for, email JustOurSong for a full refund. JustOurSong's 30 days apply whether or not you've downloaded the MP3, and its free redo covers minor or major changes to the lyrics or the music.
If you'd rather keep 30 days to be sure, even after the song is in your hands, JustOurSong is the safer pick.
Can the Song Be in Their Language?
Songful's form has no language step. Its help center says it currently makes songs in English and Spanish only, and for Spanish you type a note in the details box.
With JustOurSong you choose:
- The language: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and many more
- The vocalist and the vibe: upbeat and happy, soulful and deep, romantic, funny, or epic and powerful
- The occasion: a birthday, anniversary, proposal, wedding, graduation, apology, Christmas, New Year, a song in memory of someone, just because, or any moment you describe in your own words
- The details: nicknames, inside jokes, the first apartment, the song from the kitchen
If the song is for a family that speaks French or German at home, JustOurSong is the stronger pick.
How It Sounds When You Press Play
