GiftSong and JustOurSong start the same way: a few questions, then a free preview of your song. The difference is what you actually own once you've paid, how the finished song sounds, and what you can do if the full song isn't the one.
This review is published by JustOurSong. Details about GiftSong were checked on its website, pricing page, FAQ, terms of service and song form, up to its account sign-up step, in October 2026, along with GiftSong reviews on Trustpilot.
The Short Version
GiftSong can suit you if one of its styles fits, playing the song from its sharing page is enough, and you're sure you won't want your money back. JustOurSong is the choice when you want the MP3 and a radio-ready master with your song, more genres, no subscription and 30 days to be sure.
Key takeaways
- Before you pay: both play you a free preview. With JustOurSong you also choose from more genres, like Christian, soul, a cinematic ballad, bachata and mariachi.
- How it's made: JustOurSong gives every single song the studio-grade treatment, no plan required: written from scratch, quality-checked and finished with a radio-ready master. GiftSong lists studio-quality vocals and production under its monthly and yearly plans, not under its single song.
- After delivery: JustOurSong's free redo covers minor or major changes to the lyrics or the music, and its 30-day money-back guarantee applies even after you've heard the full song. GiftSong's single song doesn't include the MP3, and its terms say all song purchases are final once the full song is unlocked.
Platform Overview
GiftSong
GiftSong builds a song from a short form: a genre, a male or female voice and a language; up to three names and the occasion; then your story, which it says works best at 80 to 600 words. Next it asks you to create an account, and then plays a 60-second sample. Once you buy, the song lives in your account and on a sharing page.
JustOurSong
JustOurSong includes the high-quality MP3 and the lyrics with every song, with no subscription involved. The process is a short guide about who the song is for, the occasion, the genre, the vocalist, the vibe and your memories, and JustOurSong plays a free preview before you pay. Each song is written from scratch, its lyrics never reused, in many genres, like country, Christian, soul, cinematic ballads, bachata, mariachi and others, and mastered to sound like it belongs on the radio. The finished song arrives by email as a link to a private song page where you can play it, share it and download it.

What You Get When You Buy One Song
GiftSong's single song includes personalised lyrics and a sharing page. Its pricing page marks the MP3 download, a video and wall art as not included, and sells each of them as an add-on.
The MP3 download comes as standard only with its monthly and yearly plans. The yearly plan can't be cancelled from your account: its terms say you have to email support, and cancelling early carries a fee.
JustOurSong's finished song arrives on a private song page, where you can play it, share it and download the high-quality MP3 and the lyrics, with no subscription.
If you want one finished song they can keep on their phone, with nothing left to unlock, JustOurSong gives you more from the start.
What If the Full Song Isn't the One?
GiftSong's sample is 60 seconds long. Its terms say that by buying you confirm you've listened to it, that you accept the risk the complete song may not meet your expectations beyond what the sample showed, and that no refunds are given if you're dissatisfied with the full song. All song purchases are final once the full song is unlocked.
JustOurSong's guarantee runs for 30 days. If you're not happy, email us and you get a full refund. JustOurSong's free redo covers any change to the lyrics or the music, minor or major.
If you'd like a way out after you've heard the whole song, JustOurSong is the safer pick.
What You Can Shape Before You Pay
With JustOurSong you choose:
- The genre: many to choose from, like country, classic rock, alt rock, soul, jazz, indie pop, Christian, a cinematic ballad, bachata, mariachi and others
- The vocalist and the vibe: upbeat and happy, soulful and deep, romantic, funny, or epic and powerful
- The occasion: a birthday, anniversary, proposal, wedding, graduation, apology, Christmas, New Year, a song in memory of someone, just because, or any moment you describe in your own words
- The details: nicknames, inside jokes, the first flat, the song from the kitchen
GiftSong's form offers 24 styles, from pop, classic rock and country to jazz, reggae, lullaby and Latin pop. There's no Christian or gospel style, no soul, and no bachata or mariachi.
If the song should be a worship song, a soul ballad or a bachata for the dance floor, JustOurSong is the stronger pick.
How It Sounds When You Press Play
Every JustOurSong song gets:
- A natural songwriting structure: verses, and a chorus they'll hum for days
- Studio-grade quality control before it reaches you
- A radio-ready master that sounds full on a phone, in the car or over the speakers at the party
GiftSong's pricing page lists studio-quality vocals and production only under its monthly and yearly plans, not under its single song. With JustOurSong, that finish comes with every song, with no plan to sign up for.
If the song has to sound finished the first time they press play, JustOurSong is the one to choose.
