Songheart and JustOurSong both turn your story into a song for someone you love. Where they differ is what that song actually is when it arrives, how long you wait for it, and what you can do if it isn't right.
This review is published by JustOurSong. Details about Songheart were checked on its website, FAQ, terms and conditions and order form, up to its checkout page, in October 2026, along with the Songheart reviews shown on its own website.
The Short Version
Songheart can suit you if you'd love an artist's acoustic performance on video and the occasion is weeks away. JustOurSong is the choice when you want to hear the song first, get a finished, radio-ready song with the MP3 included, have it in 30 minutes when time is short and keep 30 days to be sure.
Key takeaways
- Before you pay: JustOurSong lets you hear a free preview of your song before you pay, not after. Songheart's FAQ says you hear the song only once it's finished and paid for.
- How it's made: a JustOurSong song is fully produced as standard: written from scratch, checked with studio-grade quality control and given a radio-ready master. Songheart's standard song is an artist's acoustic performance on video; a studio recording is a paid add-on.
- After delivery: JustOurSong includes a free redo for any change to the lyrics or the music, minor or major, and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Songheart doesn't refund, and its one free revision covers only a missed must-have or a mistake.
Platform Overview
Songheart
Songheart matches your story with one of its artists, or one you pick from its roster. A single order form asks for the occasion and date, who the song is from and for, your story, two things the song must include, a vocalist and a genre request, then a delivery speed: within 30 days as standard, or 7 days, 72 hours or 24 hours for more. The song is 2 to 3 minutes long, with two verses and a chorus, and arrives as a YouTube video of the artist performing it acoustically, with a lyric sheet.
JustOurSong
JustOurSong delivers a fully produced song, mastered to sound like it belongs on the radio, rather than a video of someone playing it acoustically. It starts with a short guide about who the song is for, the occasion, the genre, the vocalist, the vibe and the memories that matter, and every song is written from scratch, with a producer-guided arrangement, in many genres like country, R&B, soul, jazz, Christian and others. JustOurSong plays you a free preview before you pay, and the finished song arrives by email as a link to a private song page where you can play it, share it and download the high-quality MP3 and the lyrics, in as little as 30 minutes with express delivery.

Hear It Before You Pay
With JustOurSong you share your story, and a few minutes later you're listening to a free preview of your own song: their name, your memories, the genre you picked. You pay only once you've heard it.
Songheart has no preview of your own song. Its FAQ says it has chosen not to offer snippets, because a song can only be appreciated in full, so you hear it for the first time once it's finished and paid for. The songs on its site were made for other people.
If you'd like to hear their name sung before paying, JustOurSong is the safer choice.
What You Actually Get From Songheart
Songheart's standard song is 2 to 3 minutes long, with two verses and a chorus. It arrives as a video of one of its artists performing it acoustically, uploaded to YouTube, with a lyric sheet. A studio recording, where the vocals and instruments are recorded and polished in a studio, is a paid add-on that arrives up to 7 days after the song is written. So is the MP3 file, and so is an extra verse.
Its order form also sets the YouTube video to public and searchable by default, marked as recommended. If the song is a surprise, you have to remember to switch it to private.
JustOurSong's finished song arrives on a private song page, where you can play it, share it and download the high-quality MP3 and the lyrics, all included.
If you want a finished, radio-ready song they can keep on their phone, JustOurSong gives you more from the start.
What If You Don't Love the Song?
Songheart's FAQ is clear: it doesn't refund, because the artist has already been paid. Its one free revision covers a missed must-have or a mistake against your story, and only minor changes: it won't rewrite the song or change the melody or structure. Anything below its standards has to be reported within 3 days, and if you simply don't like the song, a new version is a paid revision.
JustOurSong's guarantee runs for 30 days. If the song isn't right for you, email JustOurSong and you get a full refund. With JustOurSong, minor or major changes to the lyrics or the music are covered by a free redo.
If you're planning ahead, JustOurSong is the one that keeps your options open.
How It Sounds When You Press Play
